Massimiliano Allegri has been confirmed as the new coach of Milan, with the former Cagliari coach replacing Brazilian Leonardo in the San Siro hot seat, after the former World Cup winner had left the club at the end of the last campaign by mutual consent with owner and Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi.
Allegri has signed a two year deal with the club that will see him take charge until June 2012.
